Many documentary photographic projects that deal with trans issues exploit the genders of their subjects, pointing to an “otherness” or inappropriately exoticizing their bodies.

(Happy to see this getting reblogged so much - not for the notes. Its just getting married one day is a dream of mine. Plus I just don’t see enough pictures of “real” lesbian relationships on tumblr mostly just sex. Which is great but I do want more. I want someone who challenges me, my best friend, and someone I can’t imagine my life without even when I want to throw something at them.)
